Sabbath keeping?

Question:
Why do we hold Sunday as our sabbath when the Bible teaches the seventh day, Saturday?
Answer:
We do not set Saturday or Sunday apart as the Sabbath. To consider either day the Sabbath is to deny the spiritual reality that has come to us in Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of the Sabbath and the fulfillment of the entire ceremonial law. The Sabbath was a shadow, Jesus is the substance (Colossians 2:16-17).
To the New Testament believers, every day is the Sabbath, because every day is the Lord's day (see Acts 2:26). This is the day that the Lord has made! (Psalms 118:24). We should be setting aside every day as a time to serve the Lord. Let's not return to the shadows when the substance is so vastly superior!
