Answer: |
The Shema teaches us that we are to love the one true God with all of our heart, soul, and strength. This means that we must hold back nothing: Jesus must be number one in our lives. The implications of this are broad and deep, impacting every moment of every day. It effects the way we think, the way we speak, and the way we act. It determines the over-arching purpose of our lives. Time and space will not allow us to ennumerate all the details of a life given completely over to Jesus Christ.
