Question: What is the attitude of Pentecostals toward Catholics?

Answer: There is no single answer to this question. Some Pentecostals are very judgmental toward Catholics; other love them and would do anything for them. There are also many whose attitude is somewhere in between. A lot depends on each person's background. The point is, even though we completely disagree with almost all doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church, we ought to love all people the way Jesus loves all people. As Paul wrote, said, 'For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth' (1 Timothy 2:3-4). And as John wrote, 'And [Jesus] Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world' (1 John 2:2).
