Question:
If only Adam and Eve were on earth before mankind, why are there so many different races?
Answer:
Most biblical historians believe that the three major races of man originated with the three sons of Noah. The descendents of Japheth settled to the north in the Caucasus Mountains and Europe. They orginated the Caucassian race. The descendents of Ham settled in Africa and orginated the black-skinned Africans. The descendents of Shem settled in the Middle East and eventually spread into Asia. They originated the Asian races. Of course, there are many subdivisions, which may be due to the scattering of the people into seventy different ethnic groups after the Tower of Babel. Read Genesis 10 and 11.
