Why speaking in tongues?

Question: I would just like to comment the question about speaking in tongues. First, even apostle Paul pleaded not to forbid tongues (1 Cor 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.) Does the gift of God cease? Not at the moment. 1 Corinthians 13:12 says, 'For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.' Only when we see him face to face, then that part will be done away. We will speak in one tongue as before. No more healing, for there no more be sickness. No more prophesying, for we will dwell with Him eternally. No more knowledge, for we are to live praising God. But what will always remain is LOVE.

Answer: Thank you for your comment.
