Question: I have been recently attending an Apostolic church. And at that a very strict apostolic church. They do not believe in short sleeves. Does the Bible say somewhere about wearing short sleeves is a sin? And my other question is, there are milliions of different Pentecostal Denomations: 'Assembly of God, Church of God, UPC' But do you believe that the Trinty believeing Pentecostals who say that they have the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues really do have it?

Answer: Paul instructed in 1 Timothy 2:9 'that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation.' It is up to the leadership of each local assembly to decide what constitutes modest, moderate apparel. We encourage you to cooperate with the leaders of your assembly. They have your best interests as heart.

Concerning your second question, we assure you that there are not millions of Pentecostal denominations. Perhaps a few hundred at most. Jesus said that God would give the Holy Spirit to all who ask Him for it (Luke 11:13). We have no reason to doubt the experience of trinitarian Pentecostals. The issue is not whether or not they have received the Holy Spirit; it is whether or not they allow the Spirit to lead them into all truth (John 16:13). We submit that anyone who is truly being led by the Holy Spirit will eventually realize that the trinity is a false teaching and that they must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.
