Power was withheld from the Son.

Question:
In Acts1:7 Jesus said, 'It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.' The time of coming of Jesus was for the Father's own power. This is what was withheld from the Son and even in the four Gospels, Jesus admitted that it is for the Father. I do believe in One God that is the Father and One Lord Jesus Christ. Even the Jews, when Jesus tells them that His Father is God, the Jews interpreted this that He was equal to God. And (Paul to Philippians) yet in Christ's mind He did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation and obeyed God the Father. (Christ with the fulness of spirit in him did not grasp to be equal with God.) This basically means that we have One God the Father who has the power to know our Lord's return. And We have one Lord who was given all authority and power and God put all things under him. By this also mean that He (the Father God) who put all things under Him is excepted.
Answer:
We did not think of this as a withholding of power or authority, but rather a withholding of knowledge. Perhaps this is merely a symantic difference.
You say that you believe in one God and another one who is Lord, but you are unclear as to whether the one you call Lord is deity or only human. In Matthew 11:25 Jesus called His Father the 'Lord of heaven and earth.' Therefore, God is also the Lord, and we cannot have two Lords, for Paul said there is but one (Ephesians 4:5). In Titus 2:13-14, Paul said that He was looking for the 'glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us.' Therefore, the one you call Lord is also the great God and Savior. And we know that there are not two Gods. You have placed the Father and the Son beside each other, but now it is time for you to bring them together. There is one Lord God and He has come in the flesh and made Hismelf known to us as Jesus the Christ.
