Question: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Do you not anticipate to see the great God and Jesus Christ on His right hand? Who is our Saviour? God. By whom He saved us? Through His Son. Thus the Son now becomes our Saviour. God is our Saviour who sent His Son. And Jesus Christ is also our Saviour who gave Himself for us. Do we have two Saviours? No. God is our Saviour.

Answer: If God is our Savior and Jesus Christ is our Savior, but there is only one Savior, then God is Jesus Christ. You can't have it both ways. We do not anticipate seeing the great God and Jesus Christ on His right hand, if by this you mean we will be seeing two different beings. We anticipate seeing Jesus Christ, who is the manifestation of the great God in human flesh. 'No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him' (John 1:18).
