Question: Do you hold your ladies to the Holiness standard set forth in Corinthians about women having 'long' (uncut) hair? Do you follow the standard of having separtation in dress i.e. women not wearing pants? If not, please explain why not.

Answer: We do not believe in 'holding' people to 'holiness standards.' This sound too much like imposing rules on people, which we never do. We do, however, teach the biblical principles of holiness, such as women not cutting their hair and dressing modestly and in attire that clearly distinguishes them as women (i.e. no pants or slacks). Most of the women of our assembly have embraced these principles and practice them faithfully. There are always a few who are not that committed, but we continue to teach them while at the same time accepting them as they are. We are not sure if this is what you meant by your question. If you have further questions, please post them. I also suggest that you read an article we recently posted in the Apostolic Free Library called 'The Sin of Bathsheba.'
