Revelation 20:12 speaks of books being 'open and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.' It does not say how many books. It does say, 'And another book (indicating one book) was opened, which is the book of life.' Revelation 20:15 says, 'And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.'
