Should women be working?

Question:
If women are to be submissive and the man is the head of the home, shouldn't a man provide for his wife so that she may stay home and be a mother, wife, and work in the church?
Answer:
Ideally women should be home with their children. Sadly this is not always possible due to financial needs. We believe, however, that if God's people would be frugal and would lower their standard of living, many women could stay home. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Women are supposed to be submissive toward their husbands even if they are required to work outside the home. Likewise, te fact that a women works does not make her the head. The husband is the head regardless of who is working and who is not. Working and headship are different issues.
Our prayer is that all Christian women would be able to be home with their children. We believe this is God's will.
