Question:
Isn't God all-knowing? If so, then why wouldn't He know that His people would do such horrible things? I thought that God knew all, even before He created the earth, and all in it.
Answer:
As we have said, the Bible tells us that people did things that never even entered God's mind. One of the purposes of the Bible is to help us understand the character and attributes of God. Apparently, the idea that God is all-knowing, yet there are some things that never entered His mind, are not contradictory concepts. We must accept the Bible as the final authority on God, not our limited human ability to understand.
