Question:	Did Jesus become God at his incarnation or during his pre-existence from the beginning according to John 1:1-2?

Answer:	The idea of 'becoming God' is a contradiction. One either is God or is not God. One cannot become God. So before the incarnation, Jesus existed as the eternal God. After the incarnation He existed as the eternal God manifested in the flesh. Please see our article called 'God Manifested' on Shelf 1 of the Apostolic Free Library on this website.
