Question: What are the rules/regulations concerning courtship?

Answer: Courtship is generally defined as dating with the intent of marrying. Rather than thinking in terms of rules, think in terms of what would be proper, edifying, and safe. Those who are truly led by the Spirit do not need rules (Galatians 5:16-18). Keep in mind that the Spirit will always lead you to stay pure and above reproach and will never lead you into a compromising situation. Courtship can be a special and wonderful time in a person's life, but it is also a time fraught with spiritual dangers. Stay close to the Lord and make no provision for the flesh (Roman 13:14).
