Ecclesiastes 11:3 states, 'In the place where the tree falls, there it shall lie.' This verse indicates that the condition of a person when he dies is the condition of that person after death. Hebrews 9:27 says, 'It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.' Death is followed by judgment. There is no further opportunity for salvation after a person has died.
