Question:
A lot of prayer request is for God's protection. There is only one verse in the King James Bible for protection. What word or Bible verses would cover in prayer for protection, or another word type for this??? Thank you
Answer:
The word 'safe' is used in connection with God's protection. For example, Proverbs 18:10 says, 'The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.'
You could also search the words 'save me.' For example, Psalms 31:2 says, 'Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily; be my rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save me.'
The book of Psalms in particular is full of prayers for God's protection.
