1 Corinthians 11:10 says, 'For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.' We wish we could give you a satisfactory explanation for this verse, but we cannot. We would rather be honest about our lack of understanding than give you a contrived answer. Perhaps someone else can offer a reasonable explanation. I have read several explanations, but I still don't see what angels have to do with a woman having authority on her head.
