Question:
My question involves masterbation. Where does it say that masterbation is a sin? I know we are to exercise physical constraint, but if it is wrong, why didnt God label it as wrong with all of the other sexual immorality listed in the bible? Could it be considered a way the the Lord allows us to keep from fornicating and lusting?
Answer:
Sexual fantasy is bad, sinful, and evil, but we do not know of any Scriptures that specifically prohibit masturbation. It does, however, seem to be the antithesis of self-control, which is held up as a high value in the Bible.
