Question: Jesus said that only the Father knows when the kingdom will be established...so if Jesus is God, what are the reasons for this statement? I know that Jesus is God but it's these verses that I am not seeing the full context on. I know there is more I am not seeing. I hope you can answer and keep me from trying to think in a 'title-like way.' After being under the titles for over 10 years it is hard at times to think in Oneness terms. But I do fully accept and understand that God is ONE!

Answer: The key to understanding the answer to this question and others like it is recognizing the difference between eternal Spirit and begotten flesh. In His humanity, Jesus was not omnipresent (everywhere present) and neither was He omniscience (all knowing). He had access to all knowledge, but like us, He had to grow in knowledge. Therefore He said in Mark 13:32, 'But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.' You may be referring specifically to what Jesus said in Acts 1:7, 'It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.' Notice that Jesus never said that He did not know when the kingdom would come, only that it was under the Father's authority.
