We do not know what you have heard about laughing in the Spirit. We do know that sometimes people laugh while they are in the Spirit. There are no biblical examples of this, but it is certainly something Spirit-filled human beings could do, just as they can cry while in the Spirit. The danger comes in when such expressions are protrayed as indicators of a person's spirituality. They are not.
