This topic hits home for so many saints because pastors(men) have made their own rules and it is hurting the church by not allowing the saints of God to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is because they want to obey them that have the rule over them, so they follow man-made rules thinking they are doing the right thing, because pastors are quoting that verse to them. We saints love the Lord and want to be what He wants us to be. Pastors are not to lord themselves over God's people, only preach the Word of God and allow it to do the ruling.
