Will the third temple be before or after the rapture?

Question: God bless you for the work you guys are doing. My question is, will the third temple be built before the rapture, coming of Chirst? Or could the rapture happen before the temple is built?
Answer: We believe the third temple must be built before the Rapture. Matthew 24:16-31 indicates that a temple will exist in Jerusalem at the time when great tribulation breaks out. It goes on to say that the Rapture will take place 'after the tribulation of those days.' This scenario is confirmed in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, which says that the revealing of the man of sin in the temple must take place before 'the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,' a clear reference to the Rapture.
