Question:
We minister to many unsaved households and have a small church body. Each year we try to take as many young people to Youth Convention and Summer Camp. Their families do not contribute much because they are not saved, so we try to do what we can to see that they get to attend these events that are evangelistic. In a perfect world and a perfect church, we wouldn't have to be concerned about funds to win the lost. So do you agree with supporting a ministry of someone who digs wells and feeds the homeless and helpless and asks for financial help to do so?
Answer:
We think it is fine to support people who are doing service to those in need, but we do not believe that God's plan for supporting the work of His church is fund-raising.
