Question:
I was curious about 1 Corinthians 15:28. In terms of oneness, how can this verse be explained? Does this prove trinity?
Answer:
Of course this verse does not prove the trinity, since the trinity is not a biblical doctrine. This verse is speaking of the consummation of God's plan for man when there will no longer be any need for a savior. At this time God's humanity will no longer serve as the Mediator between God and man. God will continue to relate to man by means of His humanity throughout eternity, but His humanity will no longer serve the purpose He currently does as the Advocate and Savior of man.
