There are plenty of abusive husbands currently serving time in prison. This is God's standard form of correction. But often the wives who are being abused either fail to call the police or drop the charged after the emotion has settled down. We would suggest that you be very careful that you don't find yourself blaming God for something He is not responsible for. Just because something appears to you to be happening does not mean it really is. You have a very limited view. We say that if you are being abused or you know someone who is, the police need to be called.
