Question:
I don't watch Joel Olsteen either, but I happend to hear about the interview so I watched it. He (Mr. Olsteen wasn't being judgemental). I am not as wise nor as educated nor as knowledgeable as you. Your answer sounds like Mr. Olsteen has cooties. The reason I asked how you would have replied as somewhere before this has come up in my life. I lost my job with GE because I did not know I was working with a group of lesbians. I told one of them when she asked me about homosexuality, what the bible said about it in the old, new, and in Revelations. You should elaborate more on why you don't plan on watching Mr. Olsteen. I thought when you had the Holy Ghost you could walk among demons, and because you have the Holy Ghost you wouldn't be touched. God bless you.
Answer:
People with the Holy Ghost can walk among demons if they like, but frankly, I don't like being around them and I especially don't like having to listen to them preach their false doctrines. And beyond that, there have been plnety of people with the Holy Ghost who have been corrupted and fallen from the faith because they spend just a little too much time fellowshiping with demons. Consider what Paul wrote: 'I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons' (1 Corinthians 10:20-21); and 'Do not be deceived: Evil company corrupts good habits' (1 Corinthians 15:33). We believe that anyone would be better off reading their Bible for an hour than listening to a TV preachers for an hour.
