A response to: 'Why is tithing not in the NT?' From my researched perspective I believe JESUS did endorse the tithe in NT times. Matthew 23:23 is my reference source. Christ is telling the Pharisees that they should tithe but not neglect other soul-care values such as justice, mercy and faithfulness. Thoughts are welcome especially if they come from GOD's Word.
