Question:	In Acts 7:60 Stephen fell asleep. Does it read that way because the saints sleep and the sinner dies?

Answer:	Sleep is a metaphor for death. Daniel 12:2 says, 'And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.' This metaphor is used for both the saved and the unsaved.
