Question: What is a 'seer'?

Answer: According to Strong's dictionary, a seer is one who sees visions, perhaps seeing into the future. The ministry of a seer seems to be closely connected to the ministry of a prophet. On the day of Pentecost, Peter said, 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams' (Acts 2:17). There are undoubtedly seers in the church today.
