Question:
I was baptized in water and baptized in the Holy Ghost as a charasmatic Christian and I speak in tongues and have for 15 years. Recently, I discovered the Apostolic Pentecostal Church holds beliefs that I have always held in my heart but were discouraged by the trinitarian community. I have always thought that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost were expressions of one God. The Bible states that clearly to me. I never realized how differently I believed than my Christian community until I discovered the Apostolic Church I've been attending and I love it and have such peace now. My question is, do I need to be baptized again in my new community?
Answer:
If you have never been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, then yes, you need to be baptized the Bible way as soon as possible. See Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5.
