Is Saturday the Sabbath?

Question:
Should Saturday be observed as the correct day to worship instead of Sunday? Wasn't that the original Sabbath? Isn't Colossians 2:16 speaking of ceremonial Sabbaths. I really want to know truth. Did Paul's churches worship on Saturday. PS I'm not a 7day Adventist, I0m apostolic.
Answer:
The Bible says that after the day of Pentecost, the original believers met daily (Acts 2:46-47). This is because the ceremonial Sabbath, which was from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, had been fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who said, 'Come unto Me and I will give you rest.' The word 'sabbath' means rest. For the New Testament believer, every day is the Sabbath.
