How would you respind to Paul Washer?

Question: Paul Washer stated, “The spirit of God is here.” “No it’s not because if it was you’d be dead.” How would you respond to that scriptually? I thought of the book of Acts when they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God, and yet at Pentecost no one died after being filled. That would have been my response. What would you say?
Answer: First of all, we have no idea who Paul Washer is, so we don't know why anything he says would be a concern. Second, we cannot tell from the quotes you have provided what he meant. You have pulled some short statements out of context and asked us to respond. That would be unfair to Mr. Washer. If you can provide the context of these statements, perhaps we could offer a response.
