Question:
When someone commits suicide, do they have Eternal Security? 'If you have faith and doubt not..' 'Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.' Does that apply when we take our own life? John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5
Answer:
The Bible says, 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness' (1 John 1:9). Suicide is the one sin that can never be confessed. No human being as the right to decide when he will die. That's the Lord's call.
