What was the Spirit at Jesus' baptism?

Question:
At Jesus' baptism, was the Spirit God?
Answer:
If you are asking, was the Spirit that descended upon Jesus like a dove actually God Himself, the answer is yes. God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and there is only one Spirit (Ephesians 4:4). Therefore, the Spirit is merely an alternative term for God. It is often used to describe God in action, as was the case at the baptism of Jesus.
