Why can't he receive the Spirit?

Question: Why doesn't my son receive the Holy Ghost? He's had it before? At 4am he woke us all up. He had a knife and was threating to stab my younger son who was asleep. He said he was laughing in demonic voices.
Answer: It sounds as though you have answered your own question. I can see why God would not give someone the gift of the Holy Spirit who is threatening his brother with a knife. It sounds as though your son needs to do some serious repenting.
