Is your group a latter rain movement offshoot?

Question:
I've been conversing with some pastor acquaintances of mine who are adamantly against glorious church reformation and they accused you of being a latter rain movement offshoot. I tend to believe that they as a solo pastor have more similarity to the latter rain than you do, but I would love to hear a rebuttal from you with tons of scripture refuting this scripturaly and maybe added to the library for the record. Sincerely in Christ, James 'Mitch' Taylor
Answer:
I'm not sure how to respond to this since I don't know much about the 'Later Rain Movement.' I thought it primarily had to do with the gifts of the Spirit and in some cases the misuses or abuses of the gifts. I'm not sure what this has to do with the ideas expressed on this website. I can say that we are strong believers in Apostolic doctrine and holiness. We do believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit, but we also believe they should operate under proper oversight. As for our other beliefs, they are expressed in the numerous articles on the Apostolic Free Library. If you know of some specific accusations, I would be happy to respond to them.
