Question:
If Apostolic doctrine states that there is Christ only, not a trinity, why do you recognize a 'Holy Sprirt'?
Answer:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 6:19 Paul wrote, 'Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you.' But in 2 Corinthians 13:5 he wrote, 'Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?' We believe that God is one, that He came in the flesh, and that He dwells within us.
