Question:
There are some, such as Irvin Baxter, who believe (please correct me if I am wrong) that Jews will get 'a second chance,' somehow bypassing Acts 2:38 obedience, in the end times. What is his view, and does it line up with scripture saying that Jesus is the 'only way' to come to the Father? Thank you for your response, and God bless you.
Answer:
We are not experts on Irvin Baxter's view of the end-times. Our view is that there is only one way (the Acts 2:38 way) which will remain the only way until the feet of Jesus Christ touch the crest of the Mount of Olives. Once Jesus is present on earth, everything may change. But until that time, He has given us the plan of salvation for both Jews and non-Jews, and if it was good enough for the Jews on the day of Pentecost, it will be good enough for them up through the day that Jesus returns. That is our view.
