Is the middle east conflict a sign of the end?

Question: The recent Hezbollah, Israel conflict, was it a sign of things to come? Are we living in the last days?
Answer: If you mean, will there be more war between the people of Israel and the Islamic fundamentalists who want to destroy them, then the answer is Yes. We ought to be expecting more warfare to erupt again at some point in the future. As to whether this is an indication that we are living in the last days, we believe that it is. Zechariah 12:3 says, 'And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.' We are watching the fulfillment of the prophecy right before our eyes.
