Question:
In Revelation 2 and 3, Jesus starts speaking to the churches, but at the end of each chapter it says. 'He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.' If they are not the same, something is wrong here. 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, 'Now the Lord is that Spirit.'
Answer:
We agree with you completely. The Lord Jesus is the Holy Spirit, not a second person. God is not a divided being, He is one! To say that the Spirit is speaking is exactly the same as saying that Jesus is speaking. In fact, Acts 1:2 says that Jesus gave His disciples commandments through the Holy Spirit.
