Question: I loved a number of the things you seem to be doing as a church! But I have one question - How do you not believe that the End already came in 70 AD? Especially in light of verses like Isaiah 65:17? (All of Isaiah 65).

Answer: Isaiah 65:17 says, 'For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.' We do not believe the promise of this verse has yet been fulfilled. We can still remember the things that happened before 70 AD. We see no evidence that the earth has undergone radical change (made new) since the Great Flood. Moreover, 1938 years of human history have transpired since 70 AD, which means that either it did not mark the End (as you say) or the word 'end' has a meaning we are not familiar with. We believe that when the Bible speaks of the time of the end, it is referring to the days that culminate with the coming of Christ to sieze His people, pour out the wrath of God, and establish His rule on earth. We do not believe that this has happened yet, but we eagerly await it!
