Question:
Being an apostolic, do you have to read out of the King James Bible all the time.
Answer:
We use the New King James Version of the Bible as our primary text. We also refer to other versions from time to time to gain additional insight. Every English translation has certain deficiencies due to being a translation. This includes the King James Verion (the Authorized Version) and the New King James Version. But we believe, due to our own study, that the New King James is the most accurate, which is why we use it. Keep in mind that not all translations are equal. Some have more deficiencies than others. Some are not translations at all but are merely paraphrases. For further insight on the various translations, we suggest the book 'God's Infallible Word' by David K. Bernard.
