Question:
Yes, my attitude is bad. I don't know how to change. I fail at trying. Is my past or my habits to blame? How do I change? I pray for change. Many people can tell you what is wrong with you. I can do that on my own. My question is, how do I do change those things about myself that seem to never change.
Answer:
We cannot change ourselves at a core level; only Jesus can by the power of His Spirit. But what we can and must do is submit ourselves to a transformational process. This will require you to submit yourself to prayer, worship, study, and active service to others under the oversight of your spiritual leaders. You must not leave out any one of these elements. You must also open yourself up to the constructive correction of others. This is how fundamental chnage happens.
