Question: What are the differences between the Nazarene Church and the Apostolic Church?

Answer: We are not experts on the Nazarene Church, but we believe they are trinitarian whereas Apostolics believe in the Oneness of God. We also believe they baptize in the titles of Matthew 28:19 whereas Apostolics baptize in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. One other important difference is the gift of the Holy Spirit, which Apostolics believe is a necessary element of salvation and is evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. Nazarenes do not believe in this. There are undoubtedly other differences, but these are a few of the key ones.
